change in uom

Following error is showing while making PO for the following code of curtain

CRJQ3204801800009(CR0317/Curtain Jaq. Coffee Bubble Dn9)

Order unit NO cannot be converted into base unit M -

we have changed the UOM from NO to M in material master of

CRJQ3204801800009

pls give me the proper soln its urgent.

check unit of measurement at purchasing viw of the material.......

Dear Reddy,

Any successful changes in material master only took place when there is no open document from SD, PP, MM & FI fo that material.

before changing the unit of measure is there any stock of that material avaiable.

Dear Yugandhar,

In the material master we have two UOM's

1.Base unit of Measure

2.Sales Unit of measure.

I think you might have changed Base unit if measure,not sales unit of measure , so you do change the sales unit of measure then try.
