hi friends,

recently i went to a interview.

the interviewer asked me. what is the use of transaction SPAU.

so i want to know what exactly a basis consultant do in t-code SPAU & SPDD and what is the purpose of that t-codes.

coz i never worked on these t-codes.

i would be very thankful if u guys answer 2 this question.

hi bhupesh,

SPAU- Modification Adjustment for repository objects

SPDD- Modification Adjustment for Data Dictionary

These two trnsactions are used mainly during Support Package application,

Just imagine during implementation customer has modified some standard SAP objects, when he apply a support package those modifications will get overwritten, to avoide that ABAP developers use these transactions to make modification adjustments
