New ABAP Editor - Not working

Hi All,

I am using ECC 5 . As I want to work with the New ABAP Editor and I installed SAP GUI 710 with patch level7 but even after installing the SAP GUI 710 and I am not not able to see the New Front end in the Utilities tab (Where we used to make a switch between New and Old abapEditor).Please let me know why isnt showing up ?

Hello Krishna,

If you open your current editor,

press F9 and then go to Utilities -> Settings-> then Abap Editor Tab,you should see front end editor(new)Front end editor (old) and Back-end editor,

Thanks.I could see only two buttons

1) Front End editor

2) Back end editor

I couldnt see rest of the buttons.

I have the same problem, I only see two buttons:

- Frontend Editor

- Backend Editor

Is it possible to install the new editor via upgrade in ECC 5.0?
