Can any one explain storage determination rule?

hi

t.code OVL3 we can maintain for the combination of Plant, Shipping Point and Storage Conditions to determine the storage location automatically at the delivery level.

But at the order level it will not come automatically.

Also

IMG > LOGISTICS EXECUTION > SHIPPING > PICKING > DETERMINE PICKING LOCATION > Storage Location Determination with Situation.

shipping point + plant + storage conditions = storage location

The automatic determination of the storage location on the combination of MALA rule, this MALA rule can be seen in the delivery document type.

u cannot asiign storage determination at sales order level

but u can do it at delivey level

to do thi u have to go to

OMS6 define storage condition ex ( 01)

OVL3 new enteries

shipping pointplantstorage c--storage location

LOFI storage location determination

enter ur plant and new entries

situationstorage condSC--and save

also make go to mm02 ---plant data/stor1

go storage cond (01)

i want to clear u one thing tht is storage location can be determine at only delivery level and not sales order level.
