material not created in delivery plant?

HI,

while creating the material the pop up is coming and defining

Plant :

sales organisation:

Distribution Channel:

i have defined and assigned whereever necessary and i have checked through EC01 and EC02.everything is okay.

The error the system is giving is Material not yet created in delivery plant?

Hi raj

You must have assigned this sold to party customer with whom you are creating order in STO process

So go to IMG -Material management - > purchase order- > setup stock transport order.

now there will be 5 check box steps which we need to configure.

In the first check box , plant will be there .select your delivering plant and in that details your sold to party customer will be assigned. now remove that customer and save it

Now you create a sales order VA01 , you wont get any error.

Hi,

Hope your enterprise structure plant assignments are correct.

Whcih material type are you trying to create? what are the views you are selecting for creating the material?

Select Basic data 1/ 2, Sales Org 1/ 2, Sales gen/plant, plant storage 1/2, Accounting 1 /2.

Try to maintain the organisational details like plant, sales org, DC and storage location.... now proceed..

Revert back if you have any issues...

One of the solutions could be that you have not indicated plant as a delivering plant.

Check your enterprise settings and see whether you have assigned plant to Sales Orgn & DC
