Hello John ,

Yes, we can surely deploy JAVA Webdynpro applications on ECC 6.0 server. It does matter if we are working on any webservices, because for that purpose we need ECC 6.40 ,or above that.

Thanks & Regards,

Sheetal.

Hi John,

Please check out the following.

1. J2EE server status in J2EE engine perspectin in NWDS

2. Status of Dispatcher

3. Status of SDM

If All the above mentioned are in Green, please restart the SDM from NWDS.. n try to deploy again..

Again if problem persist, pls send the detail error trace....

If the J2EE engine instance in the NWDS is grey it means that the J2EE engine in not started. You have to start the J2EE instance and re deploy if all the sdm,dispatcher,j2ee engine instance is in green color then only it means that the server is UP and you can deploy.

hi,

is this a double stack(ABAP+JAVA)?

You need to ge the following details to connect from NWDS

your server host and message server port and a user with deployment rights to that system.
