Hi Web Dynpro Developers,

Recently we upgraded our PORTAL from WAS 6.40,SPS14 to WAS 7.0,SPS11.

After upgrade we are unable to deploy the Previous version developed web Dynpro java applications.

When we try to deploy the Old version(WAS 6.40,SPS14) Web Dynpro Java applications in the new WAS 7.0,SPS11 through SDM it is throwing the following exception:

*****************************************************************************************************************

"Caught exception during application deployment from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy service:

java.rmi.RemoteException:

Clusterwide exception: Failed to deploy application

Hint: Are all referenced components deployed and available

on the engine?

(message ID: com.sap.sdm.serverext.servertype.inqmy.extern.EngineApplOnlineDeployerImpl.performAction(DeploymentActionTypes).REMEXC)

********************************************************************************************************************

If we try using Visual admin tool for deploying previous version web Dynpro applications

it aborts at 6%...

So anyone please help us who were faced the same problem.

We stucked at this problem from one week...

Kind Regards

Abhishiek....

Hi,

You can try doing some checks and corrections at various locations.

1. check whether new sp11 runtime jars like SAP-JTECHS, SAP-JEE, SAP-BUILDT are checked in to NWDI.

2. Upadate your SC with the above said required dependancy DCs.

3. sync your code, build and deploy.

Hi,

can you recompile it in new NWDS and then deploy?
