memory usage increase to 100%

Hi Experts,

we have one SAP EP 6.0 server with J2ee standalone engine.

After restart of the server the CPU usage, I can see in the taskmanager, is suddenly increasing to 100%. Why it is changing like that.

What could be the problem.Due to this I am not able to open the Portal page after the CPU usage is 100%.

Yesterday i was facing some problem with SAP MMC. Due to that I have changed the windows>services>SAP<SID>00 and SAP<SID>01 properties account name and password from SAPservice<SID>

<SID>adm.

IS it the reason, Why I am facing problem??

Any clue regarding this??

Hi,

Is the Enterprise Portal Based on NW 640 or it based on J2EE 620 and also could you mention the server details wrt RAM.

Hi,

If it contunue then increase the memory.

It should not be 100% .

If its then it will affect your system performance.

also check the swap space if its full then add it.

this could have been cause you started your services with <sid>adm and not with SAPService<SID>, i have responded to your previous thread.
