About Java packages

Hi all,

I would like to know abt java package deployment. when we are deploying tpackages through SDM or JSPM is sap shutdown required? after deployment of packages how can we configure the packages.

During patch implementation it self JSPM will restrart the j2ee engine

seperatly restarting of j2ee engine is not required

Hi,

Java support packages can be applied by both sdm and jspm.

But from ecc 6.0 you have to apply it through JSPM,any how internally JSPM calls SDM.You will find much easy to applying through JSPM.

after deployment of packages how can we configure the packages.

I didn't get you.Can you please be specific.

Once you download the patches you have to paste them in the trans/eps/in directly,no need of uncaring.Just paste the *.sca or sda files thats enough.
