Approver Coudnt approve or reject the shopping cart

Hi all,

I am working on SRM 5.0 classic scenario...i have implemented n step approval badi..The workitem comes to approvers inbox correctly but the problem is that he could not approve the workitem...the approve or reject button is disabled.

So he couldnt approve the workitem.....

Hi

Pl check the IMG customizing settings,

SAP business workflow-->Define Dynamic Columns for Integrated Inbox.

Check if the relevant task has EC_DECISION as a value entered for Attribute1.If it is not there, Approve/Reject action buttons would be greyed out in the inbox.

Thank u very much..its working fine now...Full points to u..but i dont understand the purpose of giveing ec_decision...actually what happens when we give ec_decision there..
