Hi Experts,
In my project there were scenarios where we have used too many rfc's. does this rfc's decrease the performance.
if so please suggest the same how to incerase the same.

The way one can communicate with R3 is either RFC, Proxy or IDoc. I believe all of these modes run on ABAP stack and thus, the shifting from JAVA stack to ABAP stack would be there always.
Going with RFCs means that, it is Inisde out development. Proxies, Outside in.
Any thing that is huge.. is going to add to the performance..

Hi,
Use of RFC is based on the business requirement.
RFC are used for synchronous scenarios where u have to send the request to R3 system and u have to get the response back from R3 system.
This of course reduce the performance as u r jumping from XI java stack to R3 aback stack and so forth.
what is ur business requirement.
