Cost centre mandatory in work centre creation

Hi All,

I have following issue:

While creating the work centre,even though my cost centre field is mandatory,then also system is not taking me to cost centre field until I click on the cost assignment view,

My requirement is system should take me to all the mandatory fields even if I do not visit a particular view.

This is urgent and any help will be appreciated!!!

Hi Karan,

I don't think it is possible for the case of Work center.

As you said, If you don't go into the specific tab page it will allow to save.

Any OSS Note??

You cannot use a field selection or screen selection to ensure that a field or screen is always maintained. Different responsible persons should always be able to save a work center (for example, capacity-relevant parts and cost centers) without the system needing a specific entry. The "Mandatory" indicator in the screen selection (transaction OP13) is only relevant for the "Check work center" function and only leads to a warning message telling you that the screen still needs to be maintained.
