Hi all,
I am transporting DEV to QA, i did place the file in QA syatem import folder, when i try to import the objects from Repository it is saying "No objects found".
Can anyone help me what was wrong.
Kind Regards,
Kiran.
Hi Kiran,
Even I faced the same problem before a month.
If Dev and QA are in different IP servers, then paste the file in the export folder and paste it in desktop and make it zip and forward that zip attachment to your mail and then open QA box, from the mail download the file and unzip the file and place it in import folder.try this.....I think it will solve your problem.

how to do transport objects from DEV to QA>
In Integration Repository object:
Right click on the Namespace which you want to send to Quality system and select the export optin and export
it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path
\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\export\sample.tpz
<what to do after creation of .tpz files for DEV>
This file will be copied and pasted in follwoing path of QA
\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\sample.tpz
Similar procedure for directory
Right click on the configuration scenarion in development which you want to send to Quality select the export
optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path
\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\export\sample.tpz
<how to reflect it in QA >
then login to the IR of the Quality select the Tools--Import option you will get this tpz file and import it and
activate.

Check the path in the receiver communication channel once again.

Hi,
U need to put the file into the below path and then follow the import process. Check the file is placed in proper directory path or not.
refer the below link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/93/a3a74046033913e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Export
IR
<systemdir>/xi/repository_server/export
ID
<systemdir>/xi/directory_server/export
Import
IR:
<systemdir>/xi/repository_server/import
ID:
<systemdir>/xi/directory_server/import
chirag
Hi Kiran,
I think you made all the mentioned things before import the IR .tpz file.
1) Import the SWCV into IR( Either By export from DEV & Import it into QTY OR Create the same SWCV in QTY SLD)
2) After that Goto IR--Tools-Import SWCV from SLD
Then now try to import the .tpz file.
