change sold to party in sal;es order

hi all

when we are creating a sales order with reference to quotation

in the sales order the sold to party field is in not changleble mode so my clint requirement is that he want to change sold to party in sales order level can anyone help me on this issue

Since you already made changes in copy settings for QT to OR, you do the following

When you are creating order with reference to a quotation, don't click Copy button, click create with reference button.

Then you should have options to change sold to party in sales order

reply back if it does not work.

Hi,

In the partner determination for sales docuemtns, the sol-to-party status may be maintained as not changeable. That is the reason you are not able to change it (grayed out). If you want you can remove the not changeable tick, then try. Try it in your development/test system before doing any changes in production.

I checked the option what u gave but in PDP it is grayed out how to activate it?

Goto VTAA

i.e. coping req of ur QT and OR.

Here in ur coping requirements at the header level use as "2"

this will help u to prepare the or from qt with diff. customer.
