Hi,
Schedule the file adapter at 8 am and 8 pm.
Refer the Sceduling channel isfrom SP19
/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/11/26/adapter-scheduling--hail-sp-19-
Use the FTP and give the SAP system login and password and server information along with the directory path details and file name.

Hi,
As you said that u have 2 files and need to be upload those into SAP r/3.
If you want to simply place those two files into SAP R/3 and for further use means we can use the sap r/3 OS level location or AL11to placce those.
OR else
If you have any specific business requirement means you can update the corresponding application data in R/3 .
First of all you just reveal your requirement, then only people can suggest in more suitable ways.

Hi Keerthi,
U scenario will be file to inbound proxy.
Now schedule ur sender file adapter with 8 am and 8 pm.
so when ur file is picked up at 8 p.m or a.m automatically the data will be updated into SAP system at 8 p.m and a.m only.
u have not explained ur scenario properly.

Keerthi you can do this way also with out using BPM.
In your Configaration side you have to give
Below the Poll Interval one parameter Available...Poll Interval( )...
it will give Additional waiting time ..if u set that parameter then you will get ur requirement..
Or
There is one more option for this:
Use BPM in this interface and put Wait step there and mention u r time slot Eg: 8hrs
Wait Step
Use
You use a wait step () to incorporate a delay in a process. Usually, you use a delay to define when the next step in the process is to start. You can define a delay as either a point in time or a period of time.
At runtime, the step waits until the specified point in time is reached or the specified period of time has passed. The system then continues the process by proceeding with the next step.
Thanks,
satya

Hi keerthi,
if you want to send the files to receiver having some time duration between them, you can use BPM.
In the BPM you can add a WAIT step and in its properties specify wait for 12 hours.
then execute your scenario on someday at 8AM or 8PM.
**Reward points if helpful.
