Hi,

Please give me the solution how to do the functional specification with the ABAPer.Give me atleast 1 to 2 test case.

Hi Rashmi,

There is no standard format of functional spec for everybody. Most of the compnaies have their own format of functional specs or clients will provide the format of functional spec.

Once you come to know the requirement, you need to write the functional spect so that it can be handed over to technical consultant for the design.

You have to provide,

1. What exactly the requirement is

2. What are the tables whicha are used

3. What are the fields which are used

4. if it is a new table you want to create, then what are all the tables and fields used to create the new table.

5. If it is a report, what are the information which is required in the report

6. How the report should look like meaning, what are the fields should be seen in the report in the order or sequence wise.

so, based on your requireent the inputs will be changing in the functional spec.

Current Report Format (If, Any)

Desired screen design (selection possibilities)

Desired report design
