Hi
Can someone help me by providing following info for the "application migration from mainframe to SAP on unix/linux"
1. strategy
2. jcl conversion
3. challenges in migration
4. data migration
I am a mainframer having little knowledge on SAP.
Please pass any document which can give me a direction to start.
I´m not sure what you are asking.
You mean how to "migrate" a legacy mainframe application to a SAP application or are you asking about how to migrate your DB2 z/OS SAP database to a *nix platform?

That is a HUGE topic.
I could be done like
- evaluating the current software, check was is needed and what SAP software offers
- install the software (may be ERP, CRM or other - depending on what fits best)
- create a prototype for the business process
- evaluate how to migrate your data
For the technical part you can check the book

For all other stuff I recommend getting a consultant (or many of them) on-site and set up a project.
