Restricting navigation from LogIn Screen to the default portal framework

Hi,

My requirement is :

Suppose an user enters user id and password in the login screen, it should not navigate directly to the default portal network containing detailed navigation, portal content, etc.

Instead, for some users, it should go to another screen which will not contain any detailed navigation. It should be a plain webdynpro screen containing some links based on the user

profile. When the user clicks on the links, he/she would be directed to the normal default framework.

Please provide your valuable inputs regarding how to implement the above.

Create your own custom login page and then allow the use to navigate to the portal

Hi Ayyapparaj,

Actually I cannot replace the original login.par file in the client server. Moreover this mid-between screen should only be visible to all users. Only some users will be directed to this page from login.par file.
