Dear All,
At the moment when we change PR quantity which already have PO the system will show information a PO already exists for PR xxxx . How to change to error message ?
Another thing, how can we have control in project builder if PR already created and release (approve) ? in another word, PR cannot be amend if already release.
Thank you.

Hi,
you may try this:
1. Maitain the change profile in OPSG.
In this change profile go to component tab, in the change you can select :
Purchase ord. exists and then select for the error option.
2. In Tcode: OPUV, mention this change profile which was created in step 1.
hope it helps, Reward points if found useful.
Thanks!

The message you get when qty is changed is warning message for which PO already exists. In SE91 you cant change the message from warning to error.
Check for any field exits for Qty filed.
Final option is to make the message as error in standard program, but which not advisable.

Hi,
Please refer transaction code SE91, which is for message maintaince. Get the, message class from the generated message & change the same.
Hope this will help you.

Hi Rakesh,
It shows that the message comes from CN*** code... is it standard one ? isnt it? It appears when i change PR quantity in project builder and the PR have PO exists .
I want to change it into error message. At the moment it appears only information saying PR *******have PO *****exists.
Please advice.
