without delivery How service item can be generated from sales order to billing document,please give me the customization steps.

For SERVICE MTL ITEM CATEGORY GROUP WILL BE LEIS Service w/o Delivery

And ITEM CATEGORY WOULD BE TAD Service

Material Type will be DIEN

Hi Rashmi das,

You do not need the delivery to be created for the service items.

You will have to create the billing doc with reference the sales order itself.

This is basically controlled by the item category in the sales order. In IMG, goto that particular item category and chech out these settings:

1.Sched.line Allowed

2.Item relevant for dlv.

Hi Rashmi,

For service process there is no delivey involved. Based on ur item category it will happend. So that u can create Invoice with reference to sales order without delivery.

Basic settings:

Item Cat. shud be not relavant for delivery and shud be order

related billing

Chk for the copy controls between order and billing.
