Hi i have been trying to download the software that you recommended. I realized that before i actually go ahead and download an application that was not going to be of any use to me i must first find out which of those downloads is appropriate for a person interested only in the SAP Bases side of things?
As already stated, the previews are available for you, so that you can work with the technical(basis) side of SAP. In the ABAP edition, you can create tables and other dictionary objects, function modules, programs, reports, BSP applications, etc.
In the Java Edition, you can create all kinds of java based applications, JSP, webdynpro, etc.
Now the problem that i am experiencing is that every time i get to the download part after signing the licence agreement it say that the software has been moved to another link. when i follow that link it takes me back to the main SDN page with no option to continue!
To be specific this is the link i keep being directed to when i try to download any of the other packages.

when I follow this link I end up in the SDN home Page with no further options to continue
I have the Mini SAP server 6.10 CD the problem that i have now is i don't have the SAPDB:MINI-WAS-DEMO:610:DATA CD I cannot complete my installation because this cd is misplaced. does any body have an idea of what link i could follow to download the missing cd?
One, the 610 is rather old. I would download at least the 620 and that you can get from the SAP Shop. Or the sneak preview which you have been given the link for as well.
