CIF queues in running status

Hi,

Whenever we take a BOP run , the queues remain in "running" status for a long period of time, after which they have to be sometimes pushed manually.

After checking out several posts, I've realised that in R/3 , in CFC1; OpMode is maintained as "I" & queue type is blank.

Could this be the reason?

On the APO side "Inbound Queue" has been maintained.

There are sufficient dialog work processes free..

Please help..

Thanks,

Saba.

you would need to schedule jobs RSQIWKEX or RSTRFCI3 regularly to clear off running or retry queues.

to my knowledge there was a design change from SP9 4.1 and the locking logic on allocation entry changed.

Just to give a perspective, we had similar issues - go through

Hi,

Thank you so much for the help, however we are currently on SCM 4.0..

As per my understanding, the server processing the queues must have an rdip/max_wp_run_time..set to a high value.

How high should the time limit be??

Thanks a ton,

Saba.

Also, the 2 jobs mentioned by you need to be scheduled on R/3 or SCM?

Currently the Inbound option is set on SCM..so I assume these jobs have to run on R/3..

Hi

In CFC1 the operation mode should be "T" and the Q type should be blank.

Pls check
