XML file

Hi Friends,

I would be getting a file from transaction S_p00_07000134 in R/3. This file is would be used as a input file to my XI scenario.

Now the problem is when I execute the transaction S_p00_07000134 it will ask for the file path to save it(It will be running a smartform ). If i give the file name as .xml, iam not able to see any content in the file. If I save file as .txt, i could see the content. Now I want actual content to be in xml format.

Could you please help me in achieving this.

If the content is in text format, File adapter can read the file and can convert into XML format which can be used in the mapping using File Content Conversion

My client requirement is I have to give the file in XML format.

Can you tell me possible ways of getting xml file from the transaction?

Hi,

Check the code in Report which u have developed and check in which format ur saving the file.

ONce u save the file in XML format then it will not be difficult for XI to pick up the file from R3 directory.

That is a Standard transaction. Yes I know if we get the xml file it will be easy for the Xi system. Now my problem is getting the xml file only..
