Erro message with infopackage creation

Hi Expert,

After infopackage creation for 0CNTRCTTYPE_TEXT(not load data yet), system show the following error message. Please help to advice us. Many thanks!

Assign a language field to IOBJ 0LANGU; danger of short dump

Message no. RSM1633

Diagnosis

Either no language field is selected as a selection field in source system DEDCLNT200 in DataSource 0CNTRCTTYPE_TEXT, or the language field is not assigned to InfoObject 0LANGU in BI.

System Response

The text request does not send a language selection to the source system and the system cannot say which data the extractor will deliver to BI.

This can lead to the following situations:

The extractor delivers all languages from the source system (with generic extractors)

Error RSAR 527 is raised

Runtime error INVALID_TEXT_ENVIRONMENT is raised in format "CONVERT_E3_TO_CS*".

Procedure

Select the language field as a selection field (with 'x' or 'm') in source system DEDCLNT200 for DataSource 0CNTRCTTYPE_TEXT and assign this field to InfoObject 0LANGU in BI.

On the Update tab page in the scheduler in BI, switch on error handling for cases where DataSources do not contain a language field. Choose the Updating Valid Records Reporting Possible (Request Green) option. In the Terminate After No. of Errors field, enter a value that is larger than the expected number of error records.

The prerequisite for using error handling is that data has been loaded using the PSA.

Also try activating the Ds in sourcesytem follwed by replicating and activating the transfer rules

Dear Hini,

1. Go to Info Sources in the Modelling for the 0CNTRCTTYPE_TEXT .

2. Then in the Transfer Structure/Transfer Rules..

Click on the Transfer Rules,,,click on 0LANGU..

3. U will find Tp column there for that particular info object..and click on that column of ur info object...and click on the Radio button which shows CONSTANTand click on Tick button...and save ...

Hi,

Steps to check ur Transfer Structure:

Goto Modeling --> InfoSources

Double Click on ur Infosource

It Will takes to the Screen which contains Communication Structure and Transfer Structure.

Now Expand node for Transfer Structure and there Observr Mapping for ur Req Infoobject.

If it is not Mapped, Map it to a Constant or to a field from DS(i.e.., Fields from Right Side of screen)

Now Save ur TRansfer Structure.

Check for that fields mapping in ur transfer structure. MAp it to a lang or atleast map it to a const. Save and activate ur TS then
