Impact on APO of Fiscal year chane in R/3

Will there be any impact on APO, if we change fiscal year in R/3. If yes then what all changes we have to make in APO.

Hi Anil,

If you change Fiscal year settings in APO then lets say in demand planning some of the forecast may shift backward or forward. So situation may be like mentioned below:

Before

Month J F M A M J J A

Quantity 10 5 7 8 9 12 13 15

After

Month J F M A M J J A

Quantity 5 7 8 9 0 13 15

It depends on how DP/SNP is configured and how calendar months are mapped to fiscal periods.

Hi,

Your Fiscal Year of R/3 should be synchronised with APO.

Other wise the R/3 Order requirement Weeks bucket will not match with the APO.

Timeseries Demand plan will not synchronised with the SNP plan.

It all depends on the what is the diffrence between in your R/3 fiscal Year and the APO.
