why not proxy with MDM

When we go with MDM to XI...why we use file adapter at sender side.why cant we go with Proxy or IDOC

hi,

with SAP ERP you can go for proxy or IDOC

with MDM you cannot as MDM does not support it yet

(it should support proxy connections from 7.1 version as far as I know)

Hi,

File adapter is use to read/write the file for input/output from MDM.

Its then converted to IDOC format and send to R/3 where the FM is responsible over data management.
