Troubleshooting (500) Internal Server Error

Hi,

What can I do to troubleshoot a webservice that once in a while (50% of the time) returns to the system caller the following exception:

System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at System.ServiceModel.Channels.HttpChannelFactory.HttpRequestChannel.HttpChannelRequest.WaitForReply(TimeSpan timeout) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- Server stack trace: at System.ServiceModel.Channels.HttpChannelUtilities.ValidateRequestReplyResponse(HttpWebRequest request, HttpWebResponse response, HttpChannelFactory

How can I debug?

Is there a system log somewhere? SM21 has nothing...

Which trace do I need to activate?

Any help is appreciated.

Check the dev_icm logfile in the /work directory
