Comunication channels depending on triggers?

Hello Friends,

can we made a communication channel dependent on another channel. So that the first one runs after the next?

Problem Scenario:

we have two file adapters. the first one read the idoc's and the second one read the trigger files.

The problem is that as the first adapter reading the idocs the second adapter begins to read the trigger files.

But I want that the first adapt finishes reading the idoc's and then the second adapter should begin to

read the trigger files. And unfortunately I didn't find any option to configure that.

I hope you guys have a solution for me.

Hi,

May be you can use BPM with 2 recevie step in series.

So when the first receive step uses the first Comm channel to pick up Idoc.

And when it has picked up the idoc , the control will move to 2nd receive step, which will use 2nd Comm channel to pick up the trigger files.
