Hello everybody,

I have got a little problem with my SAP GUI on my Mac.

I want to connect to the R/3- Server on my school. But the GUI seems only for Netweaver and Java.

I don 't know how to connect to the Server, because when I cannot fill in the data.

Perhaps somebody can help me...

Thanks

Ok, I think you understand me a litte bit wrong. On Windows I don 't use the Java GUI, but I use the "old" where I can enter the data for IP, systemnumber etc. in normal texfields.

I have turned my firewall off and antivirus I don 't need on an Mac

I have perfectly understood you The "old" is the SAPGUI 620 , 640 or 710 ?

Whether I would ask what to find out is used saprouter or message server at you school...

Are you understand my ? If yes please answer on my question , how you create the connection on windows , and tell the version of SAPGUI. Press on left top corner square --> "About SAP logon". Regards.

Don 't ask me why, but now it works. I can 't explain it.

Thanks very much....

The systemnumber is 00. So the string is like the suggestion you made before.

Yes the SAP system works, when I login with windows it 's no problem.

Ok, it's good you have windows to . On windows try this : Open the SAPGUI, press on left top corner square -->

choose options --> unselect "disable system edit functions" --> press "ok" -->

select your sap server and on the right press on "change item" , provide the information which see :

are the content on "saprouter string" ? Chek all fields, you can change the system number or changes is disable ?.

Also in your MAC are the firewall ? If yes disable all firewals and antivirus software.

Regards.

Above you say --> I have got the IP, the systemnumber and the system-id.

Try this --> conn=/H/14.28.2.22/S/32NN

where NN is the systemnumber.

You are assured that SAP system works? May be your school use the SAPROUTER, that is the most probable, or it's FIREWALL does not miss you... Your friends can login and work in SAP? Regards.

Ok,

I start the GUI Logon, then I have got a window with a menu on the top.

There I can choose "Connection", "Options" and "Help".

When I click on Option I can another Option. Then I see the Option (configuration) screen.

And there are points like "configuration", "design", "desktop", etc.
