error in delivery

Dear SAP Gurus,

sale order is created and saved.

material is available in stock under particular plant.

In delivery screen, when i enter picked quantity, system displays error that material is not available in the plant.

i checked material is available in stock under the plant .

kindly suggest me a solution.

order type: standard order

no value is maintained basic data 1

tax classification is maintained properly

Please check the Country of origin for material master.

The issue could be releated to the origin of the country.

If the origin is India and the error is still coming, may be you can check in material master under "Foreign trade export" tab, whether any other country is assigned for the field Country of origin.

If you can enlighten more on

a) origin country of the plant

b) what process you are trying, whether export order?

it will be more helpful to find out a solution, as I never come across such an error.

You can also meanwhile, please check in material master in the following tabs:

a) In Basic Data1, check any value is maintained in "X-plant matl.status"

b) under sales:sales org.1 view, whether the tax classification is assigned properly.

The end users while creating sale orders, by oversight, they would have entered some wrong plant in sale order (or alternate plant in which also the material is produced), which would have missed everybody's attention.

Please ensure that the plant what is flowing in sale order is same as what you are seeing in MMBE.

Hi,

Check if the stock is in unrestricted use, if it is in returns/quality Insp you cannot use that stock.
