how does one see which 'material type' & 'industry sector'

Hello

once a material has been made and saved.

next via mm02/03 , how does one see which 'material type' & 'industry sector' it belonged to in the 1st place ?

Dear Manoj

In Material Master, select Basic Data1 and execute. There after the material description, there will be a blue icon. Click that so that you can see the material type, industry sector and also created by, created on details.

Laks' answer is a lot simpler for most most funcitonal . end users, as opposed to going to the table level in SE16

Hi

You can view this from Table MARA. Goto SE16 and select table MARA - execute

In the next screen give the material numbers for which you want the details and execute. You can get the details.
