Hi a very good evening to all sd gurus,
My question is why the pricing rerlated data is stoted in table konp but not in the other tables like vbap or vbak (after savingf the sales order) is there any perticular reason ..pls replay reward points assured.

Hi,
Pricing forms the crux of SD module.
IN VBAK, & VBAP basic order fields are captured.
If you must have noticed, even VBAK wont list all partner functions, it has to be linked to KNA1, VBAP tables to find out more about the partner functions.
This is nothing but database management which delivers optimum performance while running a query.
Thats why SAP is the world leader in ERP systems.

Its how the system is designed Micky. It fetches the data as per normalization rule in RDBMS
