We need to generate inspection lots when there is a inbound delivery done.The neccessary setting's has been done and insp lot is getting created.But when we do PGR within Inbound delivery we get a error as ''Status of inspection lot 600000000000 / partial lot 000000 does not allow good issue''.We need to do PGR and then process the lot.
We need to repair the product returned, by inspecting it and we need to do after the PGR has been done.The simple scenario is we can de- activate the insp lot creation in the material master so that no insp lot is created during inbound and after we do PGR ,how do we create the inps lot ?.No manual creation of insp lot in this case.
Here u will have to use insp type 05 instead of 06 in material master.And second thing assign movement type 655 to schedule line category u r using (may be DN if using std).
SAP uses service notifications for tracking and performing repairs. It is standard functionality. Receipting of the material is done via the notification as well as the creation of the inspection lot.
You are right we can do PGR if we process the inspection lot thru UD and then do PGR.What i need to know is that can we create a Insp Lot during Inbound and process it later after we do PGR.In other words we need to do PGR and them process the inspection lot.
