file system logs are Full

In my Database and Application Server,

So shall I remove this logs frm database and Application Server.

Hi,

global directory is the place where the logs of background job,BDC..etc being stored,you can very well delete it if you don't require it any more.

You cans use SWU10 tcode to delete it from the application level or you can manually delete it from the OS level.

Hi,

Try to schedule the standard jobs regularly in sm36 like RS* jobs it will automatically delete the logs.

If the file system is full try to delete the log files from SM50.Goto sm50->Process->Trace->reset->all files (or) Work process.

And goto ST03-(Expert mode) ->Collector and performance db->statistics records and files->delete files.

Thanx SAM, for reply message, I use swu10 remove the log.

but in my file system is still showing 93 % full.

Better delete the contents of 000JOBLG,017BDCLG,017JOBLG,that will solve your space issue.
