Alerts to distribution List

Hi,

i have the requirement that Alerts have to send to an distribution list, instead to a single user. I already tried to create a service user with the email address of this distribution list in the E-Mail field.

Distribution list is "XI_Interface_PPTDtoSAP_Bas"

But SU01 says: "Address XI_Interface_PPTDtoSAP_Bas invalid".

Has anyone an idea how to solve this.

Distribution lists have email addresses, so there is no problem
