Hello,
Some one please advice.
I am getting the following error in my apps server
very frequently for many users.
"Operating system call recv failed (error no. 232 ) "
Please advice what is this error and how can I over
come this. I don;t find any rel. notes in OSS.

Thanks a lot for your reply. We have observed this log from few days but not too many entries as now.
Along with this error we are getting Error calling the central lock handler Dequeue All call failed in logs. I checked the dev_disp log as below,
DpHdlDeadWp: WXX (pid=XXXX) terminated automatically
Kindly suggest me on this.

Hi,
You might want to check note 21971 and check the dispatcher trace file dev_disp, also check note 63347, error 232, Error when starting the gateway process, there maybe a high load on the gateway, review note 384971 -Gateway parameters for a high interface load.
To be safe, maybe a good idea to get your Network team to verify that there are no physical hardware problems with the Network. You can also use the NIPING tool detailed in note 0500235 - Network Diagnosis with NIPING.
