WHY (Alerts Does't Show)

Hi, there

2 days ago! Alerts was working fine; but not anymore, Didn't change anyting...

what is good way to trace...

I treid tr: SLG1

1. Alert category is XDV_MAIL

2. one more category is there: ALRTFRMWRKTEST

2. Escalation check box (unchecked)

3. Container variables are:

SXMS_MSG_GUID, SXMS_ERROR_CAT, SXMS_ERROR_CODE, SXMS_FROM_PARTY, SXMS_FROM_SERVICE, SXMS_FROM_NAMESPACE, SXMS_FROM_INTERFACE, SXMS_TO_PARTY, SXMS_TO_SERVICE, SXMS_TO_NAMESPACE, SXMS_TO_INTERFACE, AlertRecipients

4. Long & Shot Text: *** Alert from XDV SYSTEM ***

Yes, I checked alrtdisp its show 3 rec. on April 10, 2008 thats it....

Please check if the alert is getting to your alert inbox. If this is true you should be getting the alert.

Could you check the communication method in your user profile. It should be remote mail or email.

YES, communication method is define e-mail for all 3 users as well using su01....

as you know i am waitng for any error comes in sxmb_moni some time 2 days no error i mein no red flags, so should I wait for 2 days ?

is any other way I can change or create error by myself in sxmb_moni....? I belive you understand what i am trying to saying....

One thing you need to check, the transaction sxi_monitor is basically for identifying errors in the integration server. So if you encounter adapter engine errors it would not be reflected in sxi_monitor / sxmb_moni.

So alerts are the only medium for some one to know for all types of errors (integration server + adapter engine).

Hi,

Check TCode : SOST . You will all the alert mails generated over tht with theri statuses. Probably your SMTP might not be working.

Hi,

SOST is working fine, I can send internaly email no problem at all; I received 3 alerts few days agowhich is on April 10, 2008, after that its stoped sending....

When I goto SXMB_MONI its does show some red flag xml messages on april 11 and april 12 but does't receive yet....

I change some configuration today and delete all Roles and re-created again, now i am waitng some alert comes in red flag or show in sxmb_moni

can I give you screen shot more understand that....

Hi,

take a look at what triggered the alert on the 10th..see if you can recreate that and trigger an alert...as you might not have had anything happen that was triggering an alert.

Try running report..RSALERTTEST..

I get messages "T-code does't exist", I never setup for RSALERTTEST I didn't know how to do that ?
