Import/Export smartforms

I want to know plse the standard program for import export smartforms from dataset like program 'RSTXSCRP' for sapscript.

Hi,

if you want to download/upload the Smartforms source, you will need the help from the Basis people. What you can do is to create a Transport and then FTP down to your local harddisk. When you need the Smartform source in another system, you have FTP up the Smartforms file back to the SAP server. Finally, the Basis team, will tp it into your system.

But SMARTFORMS are not clietn dependent then why do you want to import export them across clients. Whatever changes you re making in one client will reflect in other.

I want transporte smartforms from old sap system 4.6C to new sap system ECC6.0.

The systems are physically separated and there is no transport organizer between two systems.

Hi

The smartform is an abap object so there isn't a program for import/export like for sapscript.

U can try to create a request containing your smartform in 4.6C and move it to ECC 6 and import it by trx STMS.

But u need an help from your basis in order to copy the data e cofile of the request from 4.6C to ECC 6.

First in 4.6c Download the Smartform and Style

From Utilities-->Download Form

And In ECC6.0

Upload Using utilities-->Upload form

There is no option 'DOWNLOAP FORM' and 'UPLOAD FORM' in 4.6C version

In the 46C there's no tool to download the smartforms, u can only try to import a request from 4.6C to ECC 6 or re-create it in ECC 6 again.
