whether SQL agent require for Netbackup on SAP

we are using Backup 11d to backup the servers but at some point in the future we will be moving to NetBackup 6.5. I am aware of a request for a SAP plug-in however.

1.Is it require SQL agent also

2.or only SAP Plug-in

Points will be rewarded if it is adviced.

Hi,

Veritas NetBackup 6.5 has their own agent for planning, so standard SQL Server Agent isnt necessary.
