NULL POINTER EXCEPTION WHILE LOGGING INTO THE APPLICATION

I am getting a null pointer exception while logging into my application after entering the username and password...

plzz help out....

Hi Parama,

There are various reasons why you will get a NPE.. Please give a stack trace of your error and provide some details abt where the application is being hosted...For ex..Is the application being hosted in a portal environment or in a standalone environment...

Hi Parama,

I assume your's is a Web Dynpro Application which is hosted on the SAP Enterprise Portal.

If you are getting the Null Pointer Exception ASA you Login, then most probably, the problem lies either with the Application URL, its Parameters OR the Code written in the wdDoInit method of the very first view that is being rendered.

Kindly post the whole Stack Trace for better solutions.
