Enable SingleSignOn (SSO) in Web Dynpro Abap Application in Portal (EP)

Hi Gurus,

i've got a WDA started from Portal by Eventing.

First time, the application is started, the user has to login using his (CRM) backend user. Is there a way to enable Single Sign On for this WDA so the login is no longer necessary?

Thanks in advance,

Farid

hi farid,

the user is supposed to give fully qualified domain name while enteringthe url and also single sign on must also be enabled.

Hi Alex,

thanks for prompt reply. SSO is enabled (in transaction rz10 -> parameter login/create_sso2_ticket = 2 and login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1). but what do you mean by "the user is supposed to give fully qualified domain name while entering the url" ??

hi farid....

sometime what happens is...

when you give your url as...

say ... http://******.<domain>.com:****/irj/portal

it takes you to the login page but single sign on does not work.

but the full name might be like this

http://******.<domain>.*.<com.:***/irj/portal.

it will also take you to the login page. but this time the single sign on will work.

http://myserv03.mycompany.local:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zmy_wda_app (where myser03 is the server the portal is acually running og) and SSO does not function. is the WDA URL wrong or is something else i have to mention?
