mySAP NetWeaver TestDrive - Installation error

Hi, I'm trying to install "mySAP NetWeaver TestDrive - SAP Web Application Server on Linux" on an i386 32 bit PC.

When I execute ./install.sh script, immediately after license agreement I get the following error message:

Installing sapj2ee-srv-sapdb-6.40-2 ....

./server/RPMS/i386/sapj2ee-srv-sapdb-6.40-2.i386.rpm: not an rpm package (or package manifest):

Error installing ./server/RPMS/i386/sapj2ee-srv-sapdb-6.40-2.i386.rpm

RPM Error.

It seems that there is an error in the rpm package, so I tried to find it in the internet, but I wasn't able to.

Can anyone please tell me where to find the correct package?

Hi,

What version of your mySAP NetWeaver TestDrive? The current released at SAP TechED 2006, which the install.sh will install SAP NetWeaver 7.0 for Linux x86_64, meaning you need x86_64 libraries.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

George

Hi,

Make sure your download didn't get corrupted, you may try to download again from SDN and do checksum compare on your binary file, also make sure you use the Linux version that is compatible with the sap software.

Thanks,

George

Hi George,

you were right! The download was corrupted.

Put the blame on me...

Thank you again
