Transports during Upgrade Shadow phase

Hi,

we're currently upgrading from 4.6c to ERP 6.0 and just have started with the shadow instance creation. SPDD/SPAU phase is not reached yet.

Now we've an urgent business requirement to temporarily change a customizing setting in Supply Chain to process an order. Once this order is processed we'll immediately restore the previous state.

In the past, we've used two transports requests, one to activate and one to deactivate the change.

Can we use these transports in the current phase of the upgrade? What other options do we have?

Hi Martin

Are you upgrading your dev system now? If you have not locked the development, you will get this text 'the development will be locked in phase REPACHK2' you can still do the transports. You can choose lock now or lock later.

Alternatively you could open the prod system for customizing, do the change, but you should be knowing what you do. Do not forget to clean up afterwards (apply the change to the other systems or revert it on prod).
