change link in approval emails

Hi experts,

I have some approvers which validate shopping carts from other countries, therefore have a default inbox and up to five additional inboxes, where they receive the shopping carts.

When they receive the an email to approve a shopping cart, the link in the email points towards the wrong inbox, if the shopping cart comes from a different country.

They get the error message: "your workitem could not be processed for the following reason..."

Any idea where to change this link, depending on the country of origin of the shopping cart?

Hi. Unless you are generating e-mails with links in directly from a custom workflow the e-mails will be coming from program RSWUWFMLEC.

This program gets the link from the ITS attribute in the org plan PPOMA_BBP.

Each user normally only has 1 of these and even if they had more the program would probably not pick them up.

1 thing you could do is change the parameters of program RSWUWFMLEC to send 1 mail per user instead of 1 per work item. Then you can add text to say "please log onto EBP and check your inbox" and include all the different main log on lilnks in the text. This would mean approvers had to log in and click on their inbox instead of going directly into work items though.

If this does not sound good you would have to look at options in BADIs.
