PP-DS PPM Problem

Hi Experts,

I am manually creating PP-DS PPM in SCM 5.0.

I have created Single-Mixed Resource with Res Cat as P.

It has PP-DS Bucket capacity as "From time Cont. Capacity" and Bucket factor as 100%.

Now, I am trying to creat PPDS PPM with this resouce..but got following errror.

"You cannot use unit for bucket consumption of res. -> res. 0010 020 010 A5_PM2_MILL1

Message no. /SAPAPO/PPM_MAINTAIN158"

Please throw some light on this issue.

Hi Vipul,

When the system calculates the SNP bucket capacity from the time-continuous capacity, the system proceeds as follows:

1. bucket capacity with the dimension ‘time’ is determined for a single mixed resource and this is calculated by multiplying the working time by the loss factor.

2. In this case, you cannot assign a dimension or unit of measure to the time-continuous capacity of a multimixed resource. The SNP bucket capacity is calculated from the time-continuous capacity with the dimension ‘time’ according to the following formula:

(Resource working time) x (time-continuous capacity) x (loss factor).

I am able to understand what are steps i have to execute to create PPM.
