hi,
adding on to reading sap library is the most important thing since it gives the full context of business scenario, sap mapping and exceptions that need to be taken care. what would be more imp is the keen to understand scenarios from the business point of view. As a consultant the job is to provide a long term satisfactory solution than a temporary answer. Its the value add we give to the customer for business performance which is fundamental concept on which ERP is built.

Dear Diwakar
Of course there are lot of books available in the market and you would get confused to understand the basic process. However, as already recommended here, if you can go through Glynn William's Book, you can learn a lot as for as Sales and Distribution process is concerned, apart from the links provided in this thread.
So as a first step, please go through the basic links provided and the book recommended here.
thanks

Hello Diwakar,
Welcome to SAP-SD.
Try to get hold of SAP SD implementation by Glenn C Williams book. It is very useful for SD freshers. Most of the useful concepts are very well covered with good explanation.
