hi experts,

in one of application servers the program buffer space 100% utilized what immediate action should be taken

Hi Sudhakar,

When the program memory has used 100%, we need to analyse the buffers from past 2weeks to 1month, then we can change the program buffer in the profiles.

Procedure:

Tcode: RZ10 -> select the Instance profile and select Basic Maintainance -> change

Here you can see the following buffers.

ABAP Programs

Nametab

Generic key tables

Single key tables

CUA Information

Screens

Based on your analysis you can change the values and save it and restart SAP system.

Help this helps you to change the buffers.

while monitoring the system i observed PROGRAMBUFFER 100% utilized, but its not effecting the system performance at all. Is the value is showing wrong or it wont effect system peformance.
