When I try to open a document I get the eror :

"get data from kpro" Any suggestions to fix this ?/

I am on 46 C. I dont know what this KPRO is ...When I try to open the document this is the error Iget

Hi George,

I am Ananth, I am from the KPRo team. If you are using DMS application, then KPRO is the underlying layer.

I wish to help you here, but I need some more information. This is a very general KPro error thrown by the application. The application would have suppressed the actual error. Hence we cant come to any conclution with this error.

Are you using a Contentserver or Database to store the document?

can you please confirm that the document is present in the server?

I would suggest you, that you can raise a message to SAP, so that we can analyse the issue to find the exact cause of the issue.

Have you checked in the Define document Types entry in SPRO in the details of the Document type the 'Use Kpro' option? If it is checked, thre system allways tries to look for the documents in the kpro system. If it is not configured, you'll got an error.

I am using the Database. Incidently the documents could be opened earlier ..I have cleaned the temp folder ..sometimes the document doesnot open then.

In DC20 the path is not maintained.
