Generate URL for document

Hi-

It's my understanding that you can create a URL for an existing document that has been loaded to Solution Manager. i.e. I want to call a stored document via Internet Explorer.

I have read that you can do this by selecting the document, selecting the attributes button, and clicking the Generate button in the subsequent pop up window (the Generate button creates the URL).

My problem is that I do not see the Generate button in this window. I've seen it before in other screen shots but my system isn't displaying it.

Any ideas?

In t-code SICF go to /sap/bc/solman/ and acitivate the SolmanDocuments service.

You're generate button will be there.
