how to make field mandatory ?

I want to make a field mandatory, such as loading group in material master record , how to get that ?

Hi

Just like the Customer Master - where the fields and views are controlled by Account Group.....the fields and viewsa for the Material Master are controlled by the Material type. This can be done in IMG customisation.

go to tcode OMS9 and give Field Selection group 94 now select field as MARC-LADGR (Loading Group)

And make it required in all required categories
